Mi Che Permanent Cosmetics was formed 13 years ago by Michael Katz. Working as a Cosmetic Rep for Aroma Vera, an aromatherapy line from California and Murad, a Skin Care line also from California, he noticed how popular Permanent Cosmetics was at the trade shows he would work at for these lines, all over the country. It was doing very well in California, Florida and Texas, but was not very known in the New York area. Interested in learning more, Mr. Katz trained in San Leandro, California with Alexis Lawson, Creator of the SOFTAP handheld method for Permanent Cosmetics, and Sandy Hammons, Founder of PREMIER PIGMENTS, learning the standard tattoo machine method. Truly, two of the pioneers of Permanent Cosmetics. 

Coming back to New York, Mi Che Permanent Cosmetics was born. In the past 13 years, Mi Ché Permanent Cosmetics has grown from 1 location in New City, New York to over 25 locations in Westchester, Rockland, Connecticut, New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey working in Plastic Surgery and Dermatology Offices, as well as Day Spa's, and Skin Care Centers. In addition, Mi Ché makes "HOUSE CALLS" in NY and CONNECTICUT bringing Permanent Cosmetics to the client's home, a  major convenience.

Becoming a member of The American Academy of Micropigmentation, Michael Katz keeps a high profile, attending conferences throughout the year, seeking the latest in technology, new pigments, machines, and regulations, to give his client's the "state of the art" in Permanent Cosmetics.

Today, Michael is a Certified Trainer for the State of New Jersey, and sits on the Board of Permanent Cosmetics in Trenton, NJ. He trains future technicians from all over the country and administers the AAM Board Certification Exam.
